This is the beginning of the 5-day sprint on how to start/grow your business.
If you're reading this while driving, or on the road, or talking with a friend, or while scrolling Facebook/twitter, I recommend you suspend that and lend me your full attention. If you can't suspend, just close this email, and get back to it when you're done.
That said, let's begin.
It's 2023, a new era, and surprisingly the "peak" of technologies we've seen in the past decades.
from my sporting experiences, the BIGGEST prices are always won at the end of the games.
Although the saying that yesterday was always the best time to start, you're more than lucky—you're opportune to even start in this “peak era.”
You’ll understand, in just a second, for now, get this; what I'm about to show you is not:
> How to buy a domain name and design your website for your business.
> Where to go and buy a store.
> What words to say to get people to “go crazy” over buying your stuff.
...It's definitely not any of this. What I'm about to show you are models that you can adopt so you can immediately kickstart a business, to make the MOST money in MINIMUM time.
I managed to surf the internet to check the businesses most experts are recommending, and I came up with a list.
First, we'll go through that list, and attack the ones you shouldn’t even think of going into, and, we'll point out the ones you can consider:
1. Affiliate Marketing:
This is all good, in fact, as someone just starting out, this could be your "only" option (I put "only" in quotes because it clearly isn't the only choice).
But to really make millionaire-level-money in affiliate marketing, you must be a good persuader, you must have a large network—yours, or a friend's, you must know the exact products, that people are even willing to buy, you must have the guts to take loads and loads of complaints/insults from lots and lots of strangers.
I'm not trying to paint this as a bad business model, but there are lots and lots of strings attached to this if you REALLY want to make it in it. I honestly won't advise going for this, but if you have the (1)balls (2)courage (3)skill, and (4) persistence, then you can consider it.
a' last, you're just making a fraction of the total profit on every sale you make. . . this what you want?
2. E-commerce:
This business model, closely resembles, affiliate marketing, just that, now, you're selling your own stuff. Many go into these hoping for millions to fall from the sky. Millions do fall from the sky, but definitely not in this universe, so let's leave this "millions falling from the sky idea" to the dreamers.
I, personally, have tried this, and. . .hmmmmm. . . it's been slightly successful. what most "experts" tell you that you need to start, is not what you need at all. You don't need millions, not even thousands, just a little hundreds and you're good to go.
In the real world of e-commerce, you just need to show people—maybe on a website— some pretty damn good pictures of what you sell on your website, a low-cost ad budget to drive people to your website, and a way to receive payment.
No need to have thousands of your goods down in the warehouse, no need to employ lots of staff (at least when you've not made loads of money), and no need to stress yourself about having the best website in the world.
It's that simple, but not easy. So if you have hundreds of dollars, to RISK you sure can consider giving this a go.
3. Small-scale grocery stores:
Do you have enough money to pay for rent? Do you have enough to get goods in your store? Do you know what goods to even buy? Do you know where your customers are? Do you have the time to do some marketing?
Can you handle the headaches of ditching your current job to focus entirely on this? Can you persevere for days, months even years before you make your first sale?
If you answered yes to at least 5 of these questions, then you're safe with this model. However if your "yes" was no more than twice, thhhhhhhen completely forget about this... At least I warned.
4. Digital marketing:
Personally, I am a marketer. And I can tell you there are truckloads, and truckloads, and truckloads of catastrophic nuisances in the digital marketing space. You'll agree with me if you've got some deep skin in this game too.
Even the ones that market for big companies, are still adamant "professionals" who know nothing about how to make sales, but are very “creative” when it comes to creating national anthems for marketing campaigns.
My problem is not with them being creative, it's the fact that you and I know that creativity—alone—can not make you money.
How many times have you come across an ad and said "Wow, this is good.", and you moved on without responding or even remembering the ad? How many times, eh? This is just to prove that creativity alone will not make you (or the company) money.
Enough with these guys. But if you want to go into these, I highly recommend it also, there’s ginormous to be made. but if you must, be willing to pay the price. choose an expert in the field, follow his every move, and learn from it.
Remember, you're going up against guys like me, so you can't afford to be average.
Now that’s it for my list today. I could go on and on, but this email would be 23,569 pages long. . .hahhh. . . You don't want that right?
…But here is the catch: there is a business model that you can adopt as someone who is just starting out, without needing any of the following:
> without having any skill whatsoever.
>without selling other people's products, or even your own.
>without worrying about stock, inventory, staff, shortage, and all the other headaches that come with running a business.
>without having to quit your job (initially) to focus on growing the business.
It's a business model that enables you to adopt all of the above models, without even knowing how to do them.
One that makes use of these "peak-year" opportunities I talked about earlier.
And tomorrow, that's what I'm going to show you. the subject line will read “Grace’s Secret“. Stay glued to your inbox, I promise it will be worth it.
Until then keep growing.
For the extremely curious guys, the subject line; DTMYI means; Dedicated To Multiplying Your Income. I named it so because, actually, this 5-day sprint serves the purpose of just that.
It’s Joshua. . .A friend, and a businessman.
P.S. If you're the type that scrolls all to the end of my emails, I highly recommend you don't do that on this one. Take the time, maybe now or later, and go through it, you won't regret it.
P.P.S Remember I said (1) I had some good stuff for you tomorrow, and (2) at the end of this 5-day sprint I'll grant you access to a very special doc from me? I'll make sure to keep my promise(and even over-deliver!), so make sure to stick around.
