1️⃣ How To Start Your Business With Little Or No Capital.
Topic Of The Day.
Money, money, money. In an interview with a small group of Americans, when asked what their biggest problem with starting a business was, most of their answers were; “money”.
“I don’t have enough capital to start this new idea” “I can’t afford to add these features” “I can’t do this because there’s not enough money” etc etc. But I'll admit it before you do; this is a big business myth, and I’ll tell you how (and probably why), in just a second.
Since the very beginning, a tiny amount of million-dollar businesses you see today started with huge capital.
See for yourself: Apple’s Steve Jobs started from his garage, Amazon’s Bezos sold his first books from his basement, the Same as Nike…and Disney…and Marvel. It was all big ideas but started with very tiny budgets.
So for the average person to think that starting a business is all about money and capital, is a big myth.
But what exactly can you do about this limited or no capital issue? what can you do to mitigate if not solve this problem entirely?
Let’s take this for example; Joe needs to start a business. Outrightly, this is what he would be looking out for: a new warehouse where he could store goods, sophisticated machines to speed up operations, a ‘fancy’ building to show he is “professional”, a flock of red indies to help him get on the phone when someone calls in, a legal issue from the government permitting him to start the business, blah, blah, bla.
Outrightly, this is what the average Joe would say, about starting a business, and obviously, you and I know that not many of these “Joes” see the light of the business world.
Why? …simply because, none of these things matter, most especially at the beginning.
These are the things that these consumers you want to serve care so little about. What they truly care about is if you can deliver results, if you can actually solve the problem they came to you for.
And if Jeo was serious about things, all Joe would probably need is a partner who has all the above listed, or low-cost or no-cost options to help him just start something.
It’s as simple as that, find that one person who is one step or two steps ahead of where you want to be, come with up some idea and pitch it to them, agree to split the profits if all works well, and boom! you’re on your way to potentially building the next Silicon Valley.
So my friend, don’t overcomplicate this business thing by looking for one holy grail technique that’ll make money rain from the sky. Legend says the worst that could happen is that you’ll get a “NO”...but just a couple of times.
You have that million-dollar idea in you already, don’t wait till your candles die before you start something. see you at the top, and until then, keep growing.
